Running, jumping, climbing dogs enjoy new £7,000 play area, but not everyone is happy with council’s investment | Mail Online
To the writer of this piece for being the most slanted “news” bit. In my honest opinion his is an opinion piece and NOT a news piece, it lacks any semblance of neutrality or objectivity.
Want to bet my comment on it never gets published?
Well at least not on their site, here it is here:
I wish we had one up here but sadly, not yet. If it saves the NHS some on obese and smoking patients clogging up the works for self inflicted health problems, by getting people out to actually exercise with their dogs then all the better! Try running a course like that if you’ve got a pack a day habit! You’ll soon quit, I did
A lot better than simply throwing a ball as you are not in control of your dog if s/he’s 20 metres away from you running after it, and sticks are very dangerous and cause horrendous injuries to dogs every year (sometimes fatal injuries) so that’s a no no.
All we need now are people to stand up to the yobs who deface and destroy public property, start standing up to their kind of selfish, self centred, and destructive behaviour and things will get better.
As to the piece itself this is not a news piece but an opinion piece, it’s so slanted in the negative. Someone needs to learn a bit of objectivity here.
